CHENNAI: With the booming retail sector expected to generate around 2.2 million employment jobs in the next three years, the Retailers Association of India would be offering a Post Graduate Programme in Retail Management (PGPRM).

Retailers Association of India CEO Gibson G Vedamani told reporters here today that the PGPRM would be offered through 15 chosen B-schools all over the country.

RAI has also introduced CART (Common Admission Retail Test) for selecting students for the course. CART, which would be held on January 27, 2008 across 25 cities, would comprise quantitative ability, data interpretation and logical awareness, verbal skills and business & consumer awareness, he said.
